Accommodation in Argentina

Flag of Argentina

Argentina offers almost any type of accommodation: hotels, bed and breakfasts, self-catering apartments, student hostels or campsites. Hotel rating system doesn't match international standards though. The largest variety of accommodation options is found in Buenos Aires and other larger cities.

Estancias (farm estates), unique to Argentina, are the probably the most interesting type of accommodation available in this country. Estancias offer a great way to explore the countryside and rural life. They are spread hroughout the country, some of them even pretty luxurious, equipped with swimming pools and offering range of activities like horseback and others.

Keep in mid that in the most popular regions such as Iguazú and southern Patagonia booking many months in advance is often required.
