Aruba Sightseeing

Flag of Aruba

Oranjestad

This Dutch colonial city is filled with ornate pastel colored buildings. There are shops and restaurants to explore as well as several parks and gardens around the city. A great place for pictures.

Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge is one of several on Aruba, but this one comes with a decent (and well-signed!) road and a gift shop. Wave action hollowed out a limestone cave on the sea cliffs that later collapsed, leaving the 'bridge'.

This historic landmark is named after a U.S. state because the ship Californian went down off the coast of Aruba. This ship is known for not responding to an SOS call from the Titanic (because its captain was sleeping). The grounds around it offer beautiful views of Aruba's western coastline and the beach and ocean are good for dune and sea surfing.

Arikok National Park

The park is centrally located as it is close to the center of Aruba. You can find there cave drawings from the Arawak Indians. This park and the Costal Protection Zone occupy approximately 25% of the island. Well kept trails escort you through the park where you can see the native flora and fauna.

Aruba Numismatic Museum

Displays over 40,000 items used as money worldwide from the 3rd century BC to the present.
