The Bahamas have a tropical maritime climate and experience comfortable weather year-round with no large temperature fluctuations.

There are two seasons: summer and winter. Summer lasts generally from May to September and the days tend to be hotter (27-29°C / 80-85°F). Winters, lasting from October to April, are cooler and dryer (21-24°C / 70-75°F).

The Bahamas enjoy sunshine in average 310 days per year with average of 8 hours daily. The temperatures at night are about 5°C / 9°F lower than during the day.

The hurricane season is from June to November.
