Climate & Weather in Germany

Flag of Germany

Germany enjoys temperate weather with warm summers and cold winters. Rain falls throughout the year. Northwestern parts have more maritime type of weather and the eastern parts more of a ontinental type of climate. The coldest months are usually January and February with temperatures below freezing point and snowfalls.

The best time to visit Germany is June to September, when the days are warm and nights are cool. The summer months are also the busiest - expect much higher accommodation prices and clogged roads.

Three Spots for a Quiet Afternoon in Paris

There are so many things to see in Paris and so little time to do it that your journey in the French capital can wind up taking the colors of a marathon run. I offer you a different take on it: stop, review your options, and decide to kill a couple of hours doing just nothing but reading a good book in a spot where you can be left to yourself. Here are three spots where you can do just that.
