Honduras' climate is hot and humid with little variations between seasons. Temperatures almost entirely depend on the altitude and can range from average of 16°C / 61°F in the mountains to 27°C / 81°F in the highlands (Tegucigalpa) and 32°C / 90°F in coastal lowlands.
The the rainy season is from May to October in the interior and at the Pacific coast. The north coast experiences more intense rainy season that also comes a few months later (around September - December).
The hurricane season is between August and November, but Honduras doesn't experience direct hurricane hits often.
