Ireland’s climate is temperate and with a lot of rainfall mostly due to the Atlantic Gulf Stream.
The coldest months are January and February but the temperature drops below freezing only occasionally, with very little snowfall.
The warmest months are July and August when the country experiences about 18 hours of daylight and when it gets dark after about 11pm. Summer temperatures generally fall in a range of 59 F/15 C to 68 F/20 C.
