Macau has a subtropical climate characterized by a lot of rainfall during summer, and influenced by monsoons. The humidity is usually high - between 75% and 90%. Macao experiences lowest temperatures in January and February, with average temperatures around 15°C / 59°F, when the weather in the region is influenced by colder air coming from Siberia via mid and South China.

Summers in Macau are long, from May to end of September, and feature heavy rains (mostly in the afternoons) and often very strong winds. July is the warmest month, with average temperatures around 29°C / 84°F.

The best time to visit Macau, in terms of weather, is during autumn, from October to December, when temperatures are most comfortable, there is a lot of sunshine and the precipitation is relatively low.
