Riads
The best, most interesting accommodation choice is staying in Riads. Riad is a traditional Moroccan house built around an internal garden. Many of Riads have been converted into charming small hotels, mostly found in Marrakesh, Fes and Essaouria.
They offer intimate, bed & breakfast type accommodation, some of them quite luxurious. Be aware though that not all rooms have air conditioning in summer or heat in winter.
Hotels
There are quite a few new, large hotels in major cities, but be aware that standards of service may be very different from home. Most travel agents selling tours to Morocco offer good value hotel accommodations.
Resorts
There are many fully serviced beach resorts along the Atlantic coast. Often with several restaurants, recreational activities - good choice for travellers who just want to relax on the beach or at the pool.
