The islands of St. Kitts and Navis have a tropical climate influenced by constant north-east trade winds from the Caribbean Sea. Although the showers occur all year round, the most rainy months are from May to October. The driest months are from January to April. The annual average temperatures are around 25°C / 77°F.

The islands lie within the hurricane belt and the hurricanes are most likely to affect them between August and October.
