St-Martin/St. Maarten enjoy pleasant sub-tropical climate with hot and sunny weather all year round and constant refreshing trade winds. Average temperatures range from 26C / 78F in winter to 29C / 84F in summer. Most of the precipitation is in late summer and early autumn. The average annual rainfall is relatively low, at 115 cm / 45".

The hurricane season is from July to November with it's peak in September. The best months to visit the island are November, December, May and June; avoid September, since many businesses are closed.
