Turks and Caicos Islands use US dollar as their official currency. There are no currency restrictions on the amount of money that visitors can import or export.

Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) are widely accepted in the Caicos and Grand Turk.
Traveler's Checks
Travelers checks are accepted in the Caicos and Grand Turk by most banks, hotels, restaurants and shops. A 5% commission may be charged.
Banking Hours
Banking hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8:30/9:00am to 2:30/3:00pm and 8:30/9:00am to 4:00/4:30pm on Fridays; some banks are open on Saturdays till early afternoon.
